I featured the Swiss Business Tool a few days ago, then ran across the Swiss Pen. And this might be just a little bit better. Not only is the Swiss Pen a working pen, but it also has a surgical stainless steel knife/letter opener, nail file/screwdriver, scissors and long-life LED light. And it has a pressuring ink container, so it writes upside down, on wet surfaces and in extreme temperatures!

These little temperature gauges are great for a baby’s room - they’re cute, colorful and functional. Not only do they display the temperature in the room, but they also give off a warm, soothing, colorful glow that gives an indication of how warm or cool the room is. There’s no need to constantly check the thermostat - just check the color of the egg!
I’m not sure how this could possibly work but it looks cool. The puzzle itself is a three-dimensional globe, and it somehow stays in one piece and forms a globe as you put it together. I don’t have enough patience for jigsaw puzzles in general, and this one would drive me crazy!

In many different cultures it is traditional to plant a ginkgo tree to celebrate the birth of a child. In ten years the tree will be 20 feet tall, and it will live 1000 years or more. Additionally, ginkgo leave are used for memory enhancement - but I won’t even try to to tell you how to make tea from tree leaves. This does make a nice, thoughtful baby shower gift, though.

Cleaning is such a pain - all that picking up, and dusting, and what-not. Obviously, I don’t do a lot of it. But if there’s one thing I really don’t like doing it’s mopping. That’s why I love Mop Slippers. On my way into the kitchen to get more coffee? I’m mopping the floor. Getting some cookies for that much needed sugar buzz? I’m mopping the floor. I’m a multi-tasker!
