This may seem like a strange gadget to some, but there are definitely times where it’s nice to know the exact (or nearly exact) temperature of bath water. Pregnant women, children and the elderly all need to be careful with hot bathwater, and even testing the water coming out of the faucet can cause painful burns. For the person that wants to catalog all their belongings, the Mini Barcode Scanner is a godsend. Battery powered (with a neck lanyard), you can take the Mini Barcode Scanner throughout your whole house and scan in up to 150 items. At that point you need to return to your computer and upload all the data to whatever program you’re using to keep track of your life. It sounds like a pain, but it’s easier than entering all that information by hand!
