What? Why? Strangely enough, this is the first item listed on Perpetual Kid’s Valentine’s Day Gifts page. “Hey honey bucket, for Valentine’s Day I got you the World’s Largest Gummy Bear! I love you!”
Good luck with that.

This is a great kitchen idea: a silicone food pod. Put anything you want to steam or boil in the bag, and it’ll cook up just like normal. The cool bit is that it’s super easy to then take it out of the hot water or steamer and serve. It’s another one of those “why hasn’t anyone thought of this?” ideas!

I didn’t think Williams-Sonoma could come up with any more crazy ideas for cake pans, but… they did. This picture actually makes my mouth water a little bit – I’ve got to go find some cookies…

Everyone has seen the standard ice pops that you can buy at your local superstore, whatever it might be. But check out these unique ice pops from Orka. They’ve got a fun, twisty design, an attached drip guard, and are made from silicone, so the pop comes out real easy. And they look great!

Fun, simple, elegant, kicks ass. What other words could you use describe a kitchen gadget named in honor of Bruce Lee? Fully adjustable for large or small pots and joined by a silicone strap, the Bruce Trivet is awesome.

Keeping on the Easter gift theme from Monday (the Easter Cactus), check out this cool Easter Marshmallow Kit from Williams-Sonoma. Basically, you can make your own bunnies, butterflies, and chicks, then color and decorate. They end up very Peep-like (Peep-ish?), but they are much more fun to eat – because you made them yourself!
Many of the new wine chillers out work just fine, but their looks leave something to be desired. The Kira Acrylic Wine Cooler from Bodum leaves them all behind with it’s understated, modern looks. It keeps wine bottles cold up to two hours, and looks great doing it.

Following up on the Valentine’s Day gifts from earlier this week, we found this cool Petits Fours mold on Williams-Sonoma.com. Make hug, kiss and heart muffins or tiny cakes with the non-stick mold – then finish them off with romance-themed frosting, sprinkles, and other baking treats.

I’m not sure why I love this toy, but I sure do love it. Teach the little tykes how to use chopsticks, and how to tell the difference between the different types of sushi. Those are two life skills that will pay divendends for decades!
