Wii Finder
One of our favorite unique gift ideas sites just came out with a new tool to make getting those hard-to-find gifts that much easier. The good folks at GiftBee.com came out with this cool thing called the In Stock Gift Finder, and it apparently searches (in real time) all the sites out there that offer hard to find gifts like the Nintendo Wii, and let’s you know when they are available. It’s really cool, and it really works! I finally got my Wii!

This summer, instead of sitting in your cubicle daydreaming about your mastery of playground games, relive the past with Desktop Tether Ball from Perpetual Kid! The study base has suction cups to keep it attached to a desk or table, and with the included paddles players try to hit the ball to the top or bottom of the spiral. Now if we can just find a good office dodgeball game!
Check out the cool little sword and shield for all your hack and slash Wii games! It’s made from foam, thus it’s safe for kids - and it makes the games that much more fun!
Don’t make tough life decisions on your own, use the Vice Dice! Each die offers actions, places and items, and takes all regret out of your hands.
Switching gears for today, we found this great game for ages 4 and up at Uncommon Goods. Called Log On, you simply try to stack the log bits as high as you can, but it isn’t as easy as it looks! Great for families!
The new TV Darts game from Epoch is a step beyond standard darts games. The dart board connects to your tv, displaying scores in an easy to read format, and keeping track of sixteen different games to play. It makes a great addition to anyone’s game room (or dorm room!)
I still fondly remember the original Rubik’s Cube. The best I could ever do was finish two sides, but I might be willing to give the new Rubik’s Revolution a shot. Similar to the original, the Revolution has lights, sounds and a voice effect built in, and they’ve build six new games into the little gadget. It comes out this summer, just in time to make it onto Christmas lists!
Here’s a great gift for little kids - the Snopals. When making a snowman is just too much work - or this isn’t enough snow - just make a smallish snowball, and decorate it using the Snopals kit. And you’re left with a super-cute penguin family!
I’m not sure why I love this toy, but I sure do love it. Teach the little tykes how to use chopsticks, and how to tell the difference between the different types of sushi. Those are two life skills that will pay divendends for decades!
To feel more like you’re whacking that ball while playing Nintendo Wii sports games, just use these great add-ons. You can easy attach a semi-real tennis racquet, golf club or baseball ball to the Wii remote, and you’ll be in the game!
