Wii Finder

Nintendo WiiOne of our favorite unique gift ideas sites just came out with a new tool to make getting those hard-to-find gifts that much easier.  The good folks at GiftBee.com came out with this cool thing called the In Stock Gift Finder, and it apparently searches (in real time) all the sites out there that offer hard to find gifts like the Nintendo Wii, and let’s you know when they are available.  It’s really cool, and it really works!  I finally got my Wii!

Rose Petal Cannon

Rose Petal CannonThis is advertised as a romantic gift, but I just don’t see it.  I imagine that most women would be a little startled by the boom of the Rose Party Surprise Cannon, and that doesn’t necessarily lead to romance.  But one place I think these would be great is for weddings.  Right when the happy couple leaves the church (or when the enter the reception, have a few of these announce their entrance!

Easter Marshmallow Kit

Easter Marshmallow KitKeeping on the Easter gift theme from Monday (the Easter Cactus), check out this cool Easter Marshmallow Kit from Williams-Sonoma.  Basically, you can make your own bunnies, butterflies, and chicks, then color and decorate.  They end up very Peep-like (Peep-ish?), but they are much more fun to eat - because you made them yourself!

Easter Cactus - a fun, unique Easter flower

Easter CactusTo many people Easter is all about Spring, rebirth, and renewal.  And a great traditional Easter gift is a flowering plant, such as lillies, azealas, tulips and daisies.  But why not break the mold and get a truly unique flower - an Easter Cactus!  The Easter Cactus flowers daily, and lives for years, flowering every Spring.  It’s a gift that will be remembered for years.

Cupid Be Gone

Cupid Be GoneWhen you get really sick of Valentine’s Day and all it’s trappings, just call the Cupid Be Gone!  Sure to chase away everything to dislike about Valentine’s Day, he’s also good for getting rid of unwanted suitors, overly-friendly pets, and annoying coworkers.  Plus, he’s actually kind of cute!

Gummy Valentine Heart

Gummy HeartWhen you say you want to give your Valentine your heart, why not go ahead and give a edible fascimile?  The Gummy Heart is roughly 4″ tall, and hopefully doesn’t taste like an internal organ.

Snopals

SnopalsHere’s a great gift for little kids - the Snopals.  When making a snowman is just too much work - or this isn’t enough snow - just make a smallish snowball, and decorate it using the Snopals kit.  And you’re left with a super-cute penguin family!

Goals Jar

Goals JarOkay, so maybe I’m a teenie bit late with this one.  But it’s still a fun idea.  Instead of forgetting your New Year’s resolutions, just jot them down on a piece a paper and place them in the Goals Jar.  Then they will be right there, colorfully reminding you about your goals for the year!  It’s smaller enough to not be too intrusive, but big enough to give you a little nudge in the right direction.
