Hobo signs is the term for the symbols and signs used by hoboes during the Depression to help others in their travels. The signs warned other about dangers ahead, friendly people, dogs, police, and more. Artist Micki Whelan has used the signs as inspiration for these four simple but lovely necklaces. Cast in sterling silver, they feature one of four sign on the front, and the triangular sign for faith, hope and love on the back. Lovely.
