Coming this summer, the Zink Miniature Printer will give you the ability to print out pictures from your digital camera or cellphone camera, all in a pocket-sized appliance. The best part is that it’s ink free, using a technology similar to what’s used with old-school Polaroid pictures. Retailing for about $100, this will be a great gadget for next Christmas!
The new line of EasyShare cameras from Kodak make great entry-level digital cameras – they have pretty decent power (8 megapixels) and come in 10 different colors. The color choices are midnight black, java brown, pink, red shimmer, cosmic blue, mystic purple, golden dream, slate grey, silver essence and white glaze. They look nice, work well, and at only $199, are priced just right.
Photography gifts are hard to buy. It’s a fact. Photography geeks buy all the cheap stuff they need, and expensive stuff is, well, expensive. Add to that the trouble with different bit and pieces fitting on different cameras, and it’s enough to just forget about the whole thing and get that person a Chia Pet. But, enter the MonsterPod. This cool new product is like a tripod for digital cameras, but it’s much more than that. It’s like silly putty – you can glob this stuff almost anywhere, then plop your camera on top of it, and you have an instant stable shooting surface. Perfect for amateur photographers and vacationers!
